This conversion kit facilitates the transition from 2WD to 4WD for your 92-97 F-250/350, offering all essential components to replace with an 85-97 Dana 60. By moving the shackle to the rear of the spring, the 2" lift kit improves the overall ride experience compared to the stock suspension. Say goodbye to the flimsy front shackle design and enjoy a uniform ride height with OBS springs, just like a factory Ford F-250/350.
**Select option one (BASIC) if you can obtain a 4x4 donor for the necessary shock mounts, brake line brackets, panhard bracket, rear blocks, etc.
**Select option two (DELUXE) if you only have an axle to start with.
This complete kit includes all components needed for the 2" front shackle reversal on a 92-97 F350 4x4, such as longer shocks, an adjustable panhard (trac) bar, and sway bar end link extensions.
NOTE: The intercooler specific kit simply has the cross bar lower to accommodate an intercooler. Otherwise the non intercooled version tucks it up behind the bumper for a cleaner look. If you have a diesel we recommend doing the intercooled version even if you don't have an intercooler just the option is always there.

We have had a few customers with worn out spring bushings and sliders have issues with clearing the shackles on the 2" FSR kits with the military wrap. You need quality to spec parts to make this work.
It is common for the front frame horns to be spread due to age as the only thing holding the front of the frame together is the rivets at the engine cross member. You may need to pull the frame together to get the hanger on.
These trucks were not built to a high level of precision. Some of the rivet holes may need to be opened up with a die grinder as the holes may not line up perfectly.

A step that's strong and looks great
I opted for the raw aluminum for my 1994 F250. These steps bolted up in 2-3 hours. Directions were very detailed and easy to follow. Overall I think they match the styling of the OBS ford perfectly. The design is a welcome modern take on the classic (but flawed) older hoop step design. Thanks OBS Solutions for putting all the R&D into a proper step!
