Brake light bushing kit solved the problem. Kit wasn't available from a dealer thankfully I could get it here.
They are nicely designed and work as intended, and barely noticeable which was what I wanted, and that's why I'm not dropping a star. That said, I should also mention that $80 for a set of 4 small die cut plastic pieces is a bit too much.
Couldn’t wait to install my brake lines on my OBS ford with super duty axles. They went right on, no problems, and look great.
