I recently received this as a gift and was beyond stoked to hang it in my truck. As a hoof trimmer my life is filled with the stench of cow shit, methane, and the burnt hoof. Anyhow, I was working late and had that nagging feeling I was forgetting something and that's when my old lady called asking if I was going to meet her at the restaurant or pick her up......our 3rd anniversary, not of our marriage cuz we're not but the first time we had relations ;-). So anyhow I was able to scrape the majority of the manure off my clothes, put on my spare shirt and tucked this little date saver in my front pocket behind my Marlboros. She commented all night on how classy I smelled and we had a fantastic dinner at the Waffle House without any fighting! I normally don't kiss and tell but you bet your sweet backside I got to nail her back at the trailer!

Very easy Install, and looks great. Works way better than the original hood springs.
Replaced the old hood springs with these gas filled struts and let me tell what a difference it is to open and close the hood…pure bliss.
It wasn’t easy to adjust the doors correctly to the new hinges and strikers but was worth the work. Soon I’ll be installing the power amp steps so this was a must.

The block heater is very helpful for the older trucks, and adding the trickle charger was a stroke of genius on the part of OBS solutions and Carrick Customs! The bumper plug mount was easy to install, and it wasn't necessary to remove the front bumper. I recommend other enthusiasts purchase a rivet nut kit (from Harbor Freight or similar) to mount aftermarket accessories into sheet metal. This was my favored method to mount the charger, and it's possible to mount it so that the indicator LED is visible through the front grille when looking from a certain angle. Overall, I feel this kit has improved my ol' truck subtly, but significantly. It's very nice to have the block heater and charger all "nice and neat" instead of messing with dangling cords.
The s&b body mounts are great the make my truck ride so much better even with my bad shocks it rides night and day and the install tool that comes with them is a HUGE help thanks obs souloutions for all your help and always answering any questions i have had
If you have a slightly bent hood don’t use the top bolt on the hood side of the mount it will hit the shock and take your minimum bent hood to a full on unusable hood 😑…
Thought I had to purchase a new door because the tabs were broken off until I found this, super easy to install would definitely recommend
