Second one i bought for a second OBS. Cool thing was the website was off and i was looking at a different plugwr kit and asking questions on a forum on how it compared to this kit amd one of the guys who works here was able to get the website up amd working so i could get this one. Which is the one i knew was better so i disnt have to settle.
These guys are some bad dudes…….. and they probably don’t even know it. Bought this get to give the old girl a modern twist. I absolutely love it. Once again the instructions were spot on and install was a breeze. These guys probably didn’t even realize they gave me the perfect mount for my oil catch can too. Probably get roasted for where I have it mounted but it works great. These guys are changing the game one OBS at a time.
Very nice kit easy install these work great and a nice addition on our Lightning
Everything was good and the instructions were staright forward the hood struts and hood work so much better compaired to the old wore out hood springs i had
If you have a slightly bent hood don’t use the top bolt on the hood side of the mount it will hit the shock and take your minimum bent hood to a full on unusable hood 😑…
The light went in no problem and look great at night, the only down side was I ordered the wrong one, which is on me because I didn't realize I had the metal dome light. Only recommend to double check the kit you order. Sorry for the dirty dash, its a work in progress.
Originally planned to piece together a set of links for my 99 Dana 60 axle under my bullnose ford. When adding in the time wasted trying to source different parts and hardware as well as designing them this was far cheaper and very high quality. I ended up welding the tabs to the frame. I figured if I ever decided to run no sway bar they wouldn’t hurt being there. Even when pushed to the edge of the frame there is a little miss alignment from mount to the sway bar but I doubt it would ever hurt anything. I added some 1/2 inch aluminum round stock spacers between the links at the top mount to push the links inward toward the center of the frame and that seems to have helped the alignment of the links and made the mounting position more parallel. Overall super happy with these. If sky’s has made it for the front end of my truck it’s under there.
The steering linkage upgrade for my Dana 60 axle is top shelf. The rep at OBS was excellent to deal with, Replies to my questions were very quick and helpful. The package arrived in a timely manner and in excellent condition. I highly recommend OBS for your custom parts and obs parts.
Great product! Easy to install one step closer to getting my Lighting restored!!
Excellent product and solution for my OBS Bronco
97 Ford Crew Cab - The mechanical parts/adaptors are of good quality and not too difficult to install, but the electrical instructions could be improved, and I’d appreciate a hard copy to have under the truck.
To get a clean install, I ended up removing all of the thresholds, upper seat belt mounts, and lower panels except for the driver's side kick panel. Then I removed all of the plastic wire conduit, carefully laid out the wires, and made my plan for drilling, cutting and splicing where needed. The only wires that needed to be extended were the main power and ground. Once I had wiring neatly laid out, spliced and the heat shrink installed, I reinstalled the plastic conduit. I spent 24 hours on the disassembly, wiring, and reassembly, but it turned out nice. A few grommets of various sizes like single wire, ¼” and ½” I.D. will come in useful as well as some baling wire as a wire puller/fish tool.
In the end they turned out great and tucked away nicely, but it took me 30 hours to get them installed. I recommend this adapter kit!
Very good quality re-production part for the windshield washer reservoir. The OEM pump fit perfectly.
