If you've replaced your factory 8.8 axle with an aftermarket fabricated housing utilizing a Ford 9" style third member and still running an E4OD transmission, you are definitely going to need this kit. Your stock 8.8 rear axle has a speed sensor provision casted in the center section of the housing that the Ford 9" third member will not accommodate. This kit utilizes your stock speed sensor, but relocates it to the rear of your transfer case. The included VSS tone ring has magnets to send signal to your stock sensor, which conveys the pulse to your vehicle’s ECU. Without the vehicle speed information being sent to the ECU, the transmission will not shift properly and create unreversible damage. A must for anyone changing to an aftermarket rear end.

The s&b body mounts are great the make my truck ride so much better even with my bad shocks it rides night and day and the install tool that comes with them is a HUGE help thanks obs souloutions for all your help and always answering any questions i have had
If you have a slightly bent hood don’t use the top bolt on the hood side of the mount it will hit the shock and take your minimum bent hood to a full on unusable hood 😑…

Replaced the old hood springs with these gas filled struts and let me tell what a difference it is to open and close the hood…pure bliss.
It wasn’t easy to adjust the doors correctly to the new hinges and strikers but was worth the work. Soon I’ll be installing the power amp steps so this was a must.
