No more block heater cord hanging from the front bumper or low batteries from not driving your truck lately. With this kit you get a nice, solid mounted 110v receptacle that connects to your block heater and trickle charger (supplied with this kit) and powers both with just one extension cord. The receptacle also has a nice cover that keeps all the weather and road debris out of the plugin while you are driving around.

The block heater is very helpful for the older trucks, and adding the trickle charger was a stroke of genius on the part of OBS solutions and Carrick Customs! The bumper plug mount was easy to install, and it wasn't necessary to remove the front bumper. I recommend other enthusiasts purchase a rivet nut kit (from Harbor Freight or similar) to mount aftermarket accessories into sheet metal. This was my favored method to mount the charger, and it's possible to mount it so that the indicator LED is visible through the front grille when looking from a certain angle. Overall, I feel this kit has improved my ol' truck subtly, but significantly. It's very nice to have the block heater and charger all "nice and neat" instead of messing with dangling cords.

Easy installation & extremely firm brake pedal. 95 Bronco with Desolate power steering kit & remote PSC reservoir. I changed out the Desolate to push-lok fittings to -AN. Way better. Hydroboost kit plugged right in no issues. Looks & works great. Good customer service by OBS.
Received wrong part for my door driver side door bracket. Called spoke to Rickey understood my problem and send out corrections part same day. Asked for instructions got back email same day. Happy with how I was treated for my first purchase.
Kit is not that hard to install. Just need to take your time. Wiring could use a little more information. Maybe I am just to old but it turned out nice with all wiring inside except motor wires that go through grommet holes.

These are a must have for towing with the OBS and short bar mirrors. Look great and matches original OBS styling.
