FORD-DTB-RB-73
Traction bars are built to order, allow 1 week for fab, additional week for powder coat.
-A traction bar system designed for function and looks. Put lost power to the ground!
-Helps eliminate axle wrap in stock to highly modified trucks. High horse power engines, big lifts, and soft suspensions all benefit from a traction bar system.
-Trucks: 88-97 F-250/350 99-04 SuperDuty F-250/350 Excursion
Will fit many others. Axle brackets are designed around a 3.5 inch axle tube. Dana 80 DRW is 4" will require cutting axle mounts to fit.
2 non triangulated traction bars, 1 per side of the vehicle, 2 bolt on frame brackets, and 2 weld on axle brackets. Kit traction bars are based on vehicle length.
Additional Information:If you're planning on towing an overloaded bumper pull trailer we highly recommend airbags. The excess tongue weight will flex the brackets on the frame as the suspension is cycling and ruin them. Any trailer over 2500 pounds, 500 tongue weight will require air bags. These bars are not adding towing capacity, they are to control unloaded axle wrap.
Sky's Traction bar kit will help many vehicles by controlling the wrap of the axle, and fatigue on the leaf springs. Traction bars can save fuel by getting power to the ground, restores traction by not allowing leaf twist. They can even help save tires by less slip on the road under take off, such as hard acceleration from a stop light.
Design of the system is slightly unique as the bars are moved outside the frame in order to line up directly under the leaf springs. This helps control axle walk common to single bar systems mounted under the frame and inside the leaf springs.
Bars use polyurethane bushings and 9/16ths bolts. Brackets are laser cut CNC formed a36 PO steel in 1/4 and 3/16ths thickness. Link bars are 2" x .120 round tube with 2.25 x.250 wall DOM bushing casings.
Powder coat is only offered on the traction bars, brackets are not powder coated because they can be welded to the frame. Traction bars are built to order, this means are non refundable without a restock fee from the minute they are ordered.
The bars are super simple, and really they don't have a set perfect one way fits all install. Basically you bolt everything together, use a jack on the rear axle side of the brackets to hold them to the axle, the bracket at the axle should be vertical, hanging below the axle. Then weld those on first, using an angle finder to insure they are the same. Then the upper brackets simply slide on the frame, mark your holes, drill and bolt or weld. This must be done under weight of the truck, other wise the axle will not be positioned correctly.

I was very happy with the quality, great upgrade!
Back in June of 94 I was so overwhelmed with stress I decided to cut out and clear my head by going for a drive in my beloved 93 Bronco XLT. The mushy way that rig handled combined with the roads in So Cal meant I had to keep the speeds low and at the time I would have killed to have a suspension system that improved the overall experience. Luckily I was able to pick this kit up after OBS Solutions slashed it's price on it. I took a stab at doing the install myself and aside from some neck pain and struggling to find a set of mechanic gloves that fit I was able to walk away proud of what I did. I did it, all by myself! There was a bit of blood but overall a nice experience. Now this cuts through the canyons like hunting knife through a deers neck! This kit allows me to get away with so much I shouldn't, the guys at OBS Solutions have killed it with this product ;-)
Had a great experience working with the OBS staff, extremely helpful, and attentive to my needs and all questions. Great product. Easily installed.
Thought I would be a good fishin buddy and hook the boat up to Clems F150. Unfortunately do to a combination of darkness, rain, and my eagerness to get on the Kokanee I rammed the tongue of the trailer into his tailgate. Rather than replace the whole thing and have to try and match colors I bought him one of these. He was tickled pink and told me I could tongue punch his rig anytime!
This mirror conversion allows so much more visibility than the stockers you may find yourself staring into them for hours at a time, looking deeply into what's behind you wondering where you may have went wrong, longing for that girl you left behind, or generally being burdened by what has been.....

I hook and unhook multiple trailers a day. This is the only clean/hidden camera option for these old trucks! I have a single din radio that plugged right into the camera and the video quality is exactly what I needed. The billet handle feels very nice!
The AMP power step brackets are great! They are expensive but the customer support makes up for that. I tried to contact other manufacturers with questions about their brackets and would receive one reply , if at all, and then completely ghosted. I’m so sick of these companies expecting you to buy their crap just because they designed something and can’t be bothered to follow through with installation help or general questions. It appears to be the norm these days. Not OBS Soulutions. They answered all my questions and even followed up after placing my order.
The were pretty easy to follow along and I had the steps installed and wired up by myself in less than a workweek day. Second time I ordered from yall and will be looking to order again.
Thanks so much!
I loved the fitment and the new bolts, really helped me out, and they lined up perfectly once I was done! Even got a free air freshener and badass sticker, my truck is white and really loved the black and white sticker!
Very Happy with quality and looks!
