This kit is intended to ONLY fit 1992-97 F-250/350 trucks with DIESEL engine core supports. It WILL NOT FIT a gas engine core support. You can replace your existing gas core support with a diesel unit to allow fitment of our kit onto your truck if necessary. 2WD trucks cannot retain front sway bar with this kit due to clearance issues.
This kit is designed to ONLY work with the 1999-2003 Ford 7.3 Powerstroke OEM/Aftermarket Intercooler OR the Icebox Performance 1992-1997 F-250/350 Aluminum Intercooler.
If you do not have OEM grommets for your intercooler we sell them or you can obtain them at a local radiator shop - we DO NOT supply these in our kit!
We designed this kit to work exclusively with Obsession Diesel Performance 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel T4 Turbo Kit and Stock Turbo Piping Kit. The stock 1999-2003 Superduty 7.3 Intercooler Piping and intake spider can be used, but the piping will need to be modified to work correctly.
This bracket kit will also work with the popular Cummins, International and other diesel conversions. However, we do not offer piping solutions for those applications at this time.
Automatic Transmission Applications:
Our kit is designed to only work with the 2003-2007 Ford 6.0 Powerstroke transmission cooler. Either stock or aftermarket will fit with our brackets. We highly recommend this upgrade, so much in fact that we didn’t design our kit to use anything else. The OEM 1992-97 F-Series stock transmission cooler is inadequate and a necessary upgrade for achieving optimum performance and reliability out of your automatic transmission. We do not offer technical support for using the stock transmission cooler or any other units.
For those of you looking for performace data, here's some 3rd party dyno testing that was done on a 94-97 F-250 7.3 Powerstroke with 145k miles by Jacob White at Diesel World Magazine.

Before Intercooler
Peak EGT's 1633-degrees
Charge Air at 339-degrees (this is going into the cylinder heads)
Boost 28-psi
Fuel pressure drops to 32-psi and ICP held at 2800-psi, 2.6ms PW
After Intercooler (CSF)
Peak EGT's 1365-degrees
Charge Air at 106-degrees (less than a 5-degree swing from start of the run)
Boost at 24-psi
Fuel pressure drops to 32-psi, ICP at 2800-psi with 2.6ms PW
Other notable, with the IC installed, charge air temp averages around 25-35 degrees over ambient during daily driving. Without I/C this temp varies drastically.

This is a well thought out and quality kit. I highly recommend this kit. I have several ‘97 F350 Crew Cabs with 7.3L PowerStrokes and intercoolers installed from other vendors like Banks. This build I used a E99 Spyder, and Carson Stauffer pipes. RDP boots, clamps, and plenum reinforcing rings. Still had room to add and fabricate my brackets for a PS/ Hydro cooler and Mag filter behind the grill without any additional cutting.

These mirrors look fantastic and are definitely of the highest quality. However for what they are, and what is included in the kit, they are extremely overpriced in my opinion. And for $500 it should atleast come with the new mirrors, top gasket, and a paper instructions with pictures for those not as mechanically inclined customers. I installed both mirrors in less than an hour, template worked great and I am super happy with the finished product. Thank you OBS solutions for finally making a solution to my stupid nemo mirrors I have been complaining about for years. Also O’Reillys carries the correct mirrors for a fraction of the cost of the truck lite

I hesitated forever because of the cost. All I can say is just do it. I haven’t thought about the price again from the moment I bolted them on the truck.The quality of the fabrication and finish of the final product is outstanding. They mount solid as a rock and look like it was designed by the Ford engineers alongside the actual truck. If you’re looking for a minimal step with form and function, this is it. They are so streamlined and pair perfectly with my bumper to really clean up the lines of this truck. 10/10

Clean Looking Steps
I ordered these because I'm knocking the tan color of my Eddie Bauer Bronco. The steps look much cleaner and modern than the original fiber glass rocker length board. The design is strong and well put together. I added a few more washers to the install than came with the kit but that's my preference and probably not necessary. Passenger side vertical bolts, I drilled them a little to close to the outside, but used a round file to open the holes a bit more and made it work. Other than that the instructions will walk you through just fine. The price is not cheap but the parts are quality and really clean up the appearance of your truck, if you require a step. No regrets so far.

Great product to fix your floppy window switch. Pretty simple to install, just have to make sure it lines up properly. Glad that there is companies like these out here making fix it’s for these trucks. Will be ordering one for the other door soon.
Everything was labeled, easier to install than to remove the old cables. Ol 97 never started so well. Very happy with my purchase. After I'd have to purchase everything to make a set, it was not much more than to buy them here. We'll worth the time saved.
