Sport Mirror to Swing Lock Conversion Kit
Introducing OBS Solutions Machined Sport Mirror to Swing Lock Conversion Kit for 1992-97 OBS Ford Trucks and Bronco's!
This kit is a bolt-on upgrade for replacing your factory style plastic Sport Mirrors (Also commonly referred to as "Nemo Mirrors") to the Aluminum Swing Lock Mirror Style. If you're looking to improve visibility options, or just want to change the look of your OBS Truck, this is the product for you!
Do note, drilling of the lower mounting holes is required on each door. The kit includes a template to make this an easy modification and ensure the holes are in the correct locations.
What's included? Both driver and passenger side mirror bracket assemblies, a drill template to properly locate the lower mounting holes, inner support plate for lower mirror mounts, lower mount gaskets and all the necessary stainless mounting hardware.
Upper gaskets are not included. You will be required to reuse your factory upper gasket.
These are constructed of machined 6061 Aluminum bracketry and our own proprietary 303 Stainless pivot/lock mechanism. Completely serviceable, very easy to install and uses your OEM upper mounting gaskets.
Please Note, This product is built using raw aluminum and stainless materials. Some surfaces may show minor flaws from the machining and forming processes during manufacturing. These will not affect the quality or strength of the mirror brackets, light sanding can easily touch up any imperfections that may be present.

Shims are included to allow use of the popular "Slide n' Lock" mirror extensions.
Replacment Mirror head options:
1. If you are looking for OE mirrors, We recommend Ebay or your local wrecking yard. We have used both.
2. Aftermarket ones are available through NAPA and Advance Auto Parts. Trucklight # 7223 and #7224. Grote and Dorman make options as well.

Have been pulling trailers lately with my 7.3L '97 F250 and the Sport mirrors may be cool with power and what not... but they are useless when it comes to towing. Although I had some trouble with removing bolts off the old mirrors as another review mentioned, the install of the Swing Lock was very easy with all the new hardware... Minus the cringe of drilling holes into the door of course. lol. My original gaskets and the new gaskets fit perfectly. Went with a larger set of mirrors from Dorman (955-1384) off Amazon and boy can I see behind me now. These guys make great products to help restore/upgrade our old OBS machines!!

10 outta 10 I was hesitant about drilling holes in my truck but I do not like the factory sport mirrors on a f350 anyways it was super easy with their directions took me about 20 minutes I had to drill out the top where the mirror goes on the bracket bc I like the bigger mirrors rather than the smaller square ones but it was super easy and they look way good

Love these mirrors. Arrived quick and packaged well. If installing by yourself, toughest part is starting the nut, but is doable. Quick n easy install.

Install was a breeze with the drill template they provide with the kit, only took about an hour total including the time it took to remove and reinstall the interior door panels. Really simple install for anyone at any level of skill to do. The mirror brackets did not come with a single scratch or scuff due to great packaging, I mean more packing peanuts and bubble wrap than you've ever seen! The parts are great quality and arrived in less than a week. This style of mirror really gives these trucks a classic look. 10/10 would recommend.

The mirror brackets are great and installation was a breeze, be aware though if you have a stripped screw it may take a while, be prepared to drill and rethread, but it’s nothing too bad. The only concern is if your gaskets aren’t exactly OEM the passenger side bracket won’t fit in the gasket and you’ll have to buy one. Otherwise they are great.
