What's Hydroboost?
OBS Solutions Hydroboost Kit replaces your stock vacuum assist brake booster with a hydroboost unit that utilizes power steering hydraulic pressure instead of engine vacuum for braking assist. This provides a tremendous increase in braking power, requires less input from the driver and a much better driving experience, especially when towing.
This kit seamlessly integrate with your stock master cylinder and power steering pump. It also allows the use of your original stock brake pedal and firewall mounting provisions. Literally “Bolt On”.
Those equipped with Super Duty axles boasting rear disk brakes, we recommend the application of a 2005 6.0 master cylinder for optimal performance.

My OBS is a 521 gasser running on 40’s,I installed the hydro boost and the upgraded Saginaw pump. Install took less than 3 hours. Wish I would have done this years ago. Kit was plug and play, everything lined up and hoses fit perfectly.
Extremely impressed with the performance of this Hydro boost swap for my 1996 Ford bronco. I paired this with a don’t tell my wife RACING steering pump. I run a pretty fast pace out there in the trails, open desert and being able to stop safely is a huge improvement to the handling of this machine. Highly recommend doing this kit. The ease of installation is actually eye-opening. Customer service is like no other, definitely looking forward to doing business in the future.
This is what the 7.3 brakes should have been from the beginning. After replacing my third vacuum pump, and still having lackluster brakes to show for it, I decided to pull the trigger. Installation was straight forward with basic tools, and the instructions were great…And what a difference! First time I hit the brakes I almost came out of my seat. The truck stops solidly with little effort, and no more white knuckles. Thanks OBS Solutions for a great kit!
This kit was awesome! It truly is everything they say it is. I did the stage 2 with a power steering pump from Lee. I did not choose their high end pump but just the replacement version. Everything was plug and play! Took a day to do, but besides bleeding the system and bolting it on, it’s a single person job! Basic tools, and following instructions is all you need. Definitely recommend. The pedal feel is much better!
No more spongy pedal. Brakes are solid and has the stopping power you can feel. Overall installation was pretty simple and easy. OBS Solution thanks for a great product!!
The s&b body mounts are great the make my truck ride so much better even with my bad shocks it rides night and day and the install tool that comes with them is a HUGE help thanks obs souloutions for all your help and always answering any questions i have had
If you have a slightly bent hood don’t use the top bolt on the hood side of the mount it will hit the shock and take your minimum bent hood to a full on unusable hood 😑…
Thought I had to purchase a new door because the tabs were broken off until I found this, super easy to install would definitely recommend

Replaced the old hood springs with these gas filled struts and let me tell what a difference it is to open and close the hood…pure bliss.
It wasn’t easy to adjust the doors correctly to the new hinges and strikers but was worth the work. Soon I’ll be installing the power amp steps so this was a must.
