Once I saw your video about the garbage shims ford used and of the hard popping in situations. It came clear I was not doing things wrong . I rebuilt my front joints and bushings, shocks and so on. It needed it . Nearly 400,000 on it. Shims are in think they are great. Thanks

These aren't technically made for the Excursion but they worked! No more horrific "pop" when I drive on uneven ground. Cheap fix to a horrible sound.
The kit is phenomenal, super easy, straight forward install. Looks amazing and great quality. Only issue I had was bolts provided were not long enough in my opinion to go through the shock mount, frame and the C notch. A 1.75 inch bolt would be perfect, I sourced 2 inch bolts, again just my preference as I did not think they would be long enough. Keep it up, love the products! This relocation kit worked great for Cummins conversion even after relocating one mount hole so shifter would clear modified RYD trans. Crossmember with raised drivetrain to achieve perfect drivetrain to pinion angle - it’s all about custom!
These are by far the best quality mirrors and mirror brackets you can find anywhere. Worth the money for sure. Highly recommend.
