OBS-HOOD-KIT
Our 1985-97 Ford OBS F-Series and Bronco Hood Strut Kit is designed to be a bolt-on replacement for the OEM Hood Support Springs. This product utilizes a gas strut on each side to support the hood, provides smooth operation and a clean modern look for your truck. Installation is almost entirely bolt-on utilizing pre-existing factory mounting locations.
The kit includes everything you need: Powder coated upper and lower mounting brackets, new hardware and struts.
Minor drilling on the passenger side is required. Please see our YouTube Video and Installation Instructions for more details.

Brackets were well made. One if the struts was dead out of the box, which isnt their fault. Called and had a replacement withing 3 days! Never any complaints dealing with these guys!
Excellent quality, easy to install, get rid of your hood bending coil springs! Anything these guys make is top notch quality!
Obs solutions offer's tasteful upgrades....well thought out.....the hood strut kit looks and functions great...also bought there dash light led upgrade and early on the hydra ash tray holder which was my favorite...no one knows you have a tuner and no clutter on dash....shout out to Taylor at swift current lighting another great vendor that is associated with obs solutions.....helped me with install on cluster......obs is my go to for my beloved 97 f250 diesel
Second one i bought for a second OBS. Cool thing was the website was off and i was looking at a different plugwr kit and asking questions on a forum on how it compared to this kit amd one of the guys who works here was able to get the website up amd working so i could get this one. Which is the one i knew was better so i disnt have to settle.
The kit is phenomenal, super easy, straight forward install. Looks amazing and great quality. Only issue I had was bolts provided were not long enough in my opinion to go through the shock mount, frame and the C notch. A 1.75 inch bolt would be perfect, I sourced 2 inch bolts, again just my preference as I did not think they would be long enough. Keep it up, love the products! These shims are the best! Simple and easy for adjusting fenders except when working with LMC Taiwan fenders! What a joke! Grind holes to fit- gaps are way off!

This relocation kit worked great for Cummins conversion even after relocating one mount hole so shifter would clear modified RYD trans. Crossmember with raised drivetrain to achieve perfect drivetrain to pinion angle - it’s all about custom!
These are by far the best quality mirrors and mirror brackets you can find anywhere. Worth the money for sure. Highly recommend.
