These mirror brackets are absolutely solid. They are built way better than the OEM ones. I could not swing the OEM ones for the life of me.

Went with the short arms for my 97 F250 HD. First off, very happy with the packaging. All components arrived well wrapped, protected and free of damage. Fit and finish is fantastic, super easy installation perfect fit. Love the form and function... no more blind spots. this is as good as it gets. can not see that it is any diff. than a oem except i feel this one will last longer.
