INSTRUCTIONS
Our Rear Axle Flip Kit is designed to lower the rear of your 1980–1996 Ford F-100/F-150 by relocating the rear axle from underneath the leaf springs to the top of the leaf springs. The kit includes everything needed for the axle flip itself, with several options available to complete your setup.
The base kit includes new U-bolts, U-bolt plates, and a pair of lowering blocks. Choose between two block heights depending on how much drop you want:

5" Drop – Includes the shorter blocks for a standard axle flip.

6" Drop – Includes blocks that are 1" taller for an additional inch of drop.
Choose Your Shock Setup
Because flipping the axle changes the position and angle of the rear shocks, you can choose the shock setup that works best for your truck:

No Shocks or Shock Extensions – For customers who already have a shock setup they plan to use.

Shock Extensions with Bilstein Shocks – Includes our shock extension brackets and a matched set of Bilstein shocks.

Shock Extensions with Single Adjustable Alden Shocks – Includes our shock extension brackets and adjustable Alden shocks for additional tuning and control.
Add a Bolt-In C Notch
You can also add our bolt-in rear C notch to your kit. We highly recommend installing a C notch when axle flipping your truck. The C notch provides additional clearance for the rear axle, allowing for more suspension travel and helping prevent the axle from contacting the factory frame.
The C notch is completely bolt-in and requires no welding.
Kit Options
When ordering, choose:
- 5" or 6" drop
- Shock setup
- With or without the bolt-in C notch
This allows you to build the axle flip kit around your desired ride height, shock setup, and suspension travel requirements.
